Ignition timing? adjust clock wise or anti. Valve adjustment required? or decompression adjustment?

A little kickback is normal. Best technique for starting a 4 stroke single is to press down on kickstart slowly until you feel the resistance of compression. Pull in decompressor ( this will reduce the resistance) and push kickstart down until resistance just starts to fade.Release decompressor, return kickstart to top and push kickstart down with all your might.Don't actually kick it. Put your foot on it lightly,then push it hard to the bottom. Bigger cc bikes will require you to hop off your standing foot, and transfer all your weight to kicking leg.
If ignition is too far advanced, causing serious kick back, then you will have to retard it. This means adjusting it to cause it to spark later. Not sure of set up on your particular bike but normally you have a trigger coil mounted on engine casing with the flywheel spinning close past it. If the trigger coil is adjustable, then move it in the same direction as the flywheel rotates.
