How do I fix a plasma TV screen wall kit to the wall ?

I've tried using bolt anchors which just turn round in the wall and have no grip and hit anchors which do not go in far enough when you hit the nail and eventually just fall out. The brick is either too hard and the drill bit slips into a softer area or it is too soft and the hole becomes too big. I cannot get the holes just the right width and cannot line up all the holes very well either, even using small bits and progressing to larger ones.

Are you saying that you have a brick wall and that the place you want to put the anchoring bolts does not drill easily? If so you want to put tape as markers on the wall where you want to drill. Then go to the hardware place and get bolt anchors that are made for brick (metal parts that jam open inside the hole when the bolt goes in) and especially get a brand new sharp carbide bit(in required size) for your drill and a center punch to make a nick where you want the hole to be. Now use that drill bit in an electric drill with moderate pressure. You should feel it cutting and be able to pull it out and check the hole. If it stops cutting after a while by being worn dull (if bricks are hard glazed not soft baked) then throw it out and get a new one. There are not that many holes so you should be done soon. Put in the anchors as per the instructions.
