how to make branch flowerpots open more?

i have the alvepora flowerpot coral, but it seems to be coming out only 50%. and theres one where its scribbled up, and has sand on it? like a transparent worms sand cover remain. I supply them with calcium, storntium and magnesium. I have a 12 DX nanocube. the lights are 11 months old. WHat is the problem? my other corals are doing fine. what should I feed the alvepora?

Alveopora are very difficult. They require lots of food, which can crash a system of your size. A varied diet of phyto/zooplankton, baby brine shrimp, etc should be given frequently. Check the flow where you have it, and make sure it's not close to the lights, as they like somewhat lower lighting.
